There is something about the feeling of a simple, clean home that gives us an inner sense of peace. Below are a few decorating tips that are easy to add to the home to achieve that simple, stylish feel. Think neutral tones, earthy, mixed materials and splashes of color where it counts ☺
Rustic Pendant Lights
A great way to really enhance the look of a room is by changing the lighting fixtures. It adds texture to the room and gives off an earthy, boho feel. Whether it’s a large shade that’s the focal point of the room or table, or just a smaller light in a reading nook – it’s a style that evokes a down-to-earth simplicity.
Stylish Storage baskets or boxes
If your household is anything like ours know how easy it is from go to a clean house to everything in disarray in a matter of minutes! Toys, clothes, paperwork - anything that can clutter the house will if it’s not easy to put back in its place. We love the look of stylish boxes, bins and baskets that can be left out in the open or on shelves in the home. Not only do they serve the purpose for storage but they also add a nice decorative touch. Have extra room in a bookcase? Grab some matching wood boxes. Indoor greenery
Everyone loves a nice plant or tree in the corner of a room. It adds a freshness that only something living can provide, and it brings a bit of the outdoors inside. While we love a big fiddle leaf fig or elephant ear plant, they can be expensive and not always work in the given space. Textured Neutrals
White sheets, light grey walls, cream curtains… the list goes on. Simple neutral colors give a nice clean base for you to add accent pieces that give it your personal touch. We love the look of a room with white and neutral tones in different textures or patterns.
